| Job Description: | Job Functions: · Supervise field service engineers work programme
· Liaise with customers and assess requirements
General Responsibilities:
· Take incoming customer calls to ascertain customer requirements
· Advise customers on problem solution
· Provide customers with information on spare parts, prices etc.
· Provide field service engineers with technical support
· Schedule field service engineer visit
· Maintain records of field service engineer visits
· Liaise with customers to ensure work is completed to their satisfaction
· Ensure field service engineers have correct spare parts, tools and up-to-date product information
· Provide in house repair service for customers and for sales demo equipment
· Place orders with suppliers for non-stock service spare parts and consumables and make these available to field service engineers
· Service and maintain a set of emergency and non-stock spare parts e.g. Pumps, motors, UV lamps etc.)
· Log and record all warranty visits to be reported during weekly warranty meetings
· Maintain accurate records of Beckman equipment
· Maintain accurate records of medical equipment’s parts exchange
· Keep service workshop tidy and functional
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Knowledge of water treatment or mechanical / electrical / service background
· Ability to get product knowledge and understanding
· Good customer liaison
· Good telephone manner
· Good organisational skills
· Geographical knowledge of UK |
